Oct 19, 2009

So the kids and I are enjoying having our daddy back. My "honey do" list is becoming much shorter. London is just on the brink of walking by herself but doesn't seem in a big hurry. She is just as sweet as can be unless you are trying to dress her then she turns into a screaming banshi. Sawyer is very imaginative and stubborn which makes every hour of the day interesting. I am just waiting for him to say "okay Mom today is the day when I will go pee in the potty and stop wearing diapers". Joel and I got to go on vacation last week to Island Park for two nights! It was really weird at first--- being alone with no kids but we got used to it after the first night. It was cold and rainy and so we played alot of games and watched 6 movies---7 if you count the imax movie we saw in West Yellowstone. Joel's sister was up for the weekend so we spent the weekend at his parents house. We stayed up in to the wee hours of the night playing Beatles Rock Band the first night. Friday we went to the movies --of course--(I don't think Joel or his family knows that there is other types of entertainment out there) We saw Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs--it was funny and very well done. Then Joel and I went to Spencer's game in Firth--Go Bulldogs! Saturday morning I put in some hours at work and then played Wallyball with Joel's family --it was so fun--I was mocked for my lack of athleticism but what's new? Then we had a Brauts and Beer party--without the beer. Sawyer was so cute with his cousin Tommy who is 6 weeks older. Tommy calls him SoyBean. It was a really fun weekend -- I love it when Heather and Jeff come up. It is going to be so sad when we only see them 2 times a year......

Muskrat Sally

My dad told me there was a song called Muskrat Love and that it was a hit. I didn't believe my dad at first....You have to see it to believe it!

Homebound!

Joel is on his way home finally!!! I am so excited for so many different reasons! Ü He can't really communicate on his 4 day journey home which is horrible because I worry like crazy. So all I can do is pray that he will come home safe and we can all be together again.....
