Bad Mommy Days
I'm grateful for a close friend who told me once that she had "bad mommy days". I have had quite a few recently and knowing that I'm not the only one who struggles in being a perfect mother all the time is quite comforting. It is comforting that my kids won't remember much from day to day and that I can start over the next day--they are so forgiving!
Blessings
So I was contemplating life in my car today (I spend alot of time in the car with my job) and I was thinking about all of our blessings.... to name a few.... #1 My Husband and my relationship with him #2 Our kids-- they are beautiful and teach me new things daily and then there is the fact that I have 2 great part time jobs that allow me to be home a lot with my family and still make decent $. Joel and I both feel really good about going to California but we both were having a hard time figuring out how we would make it financially---we thought about both working part time while he went to school full time at night but even that probably wouldn't be enough. So after some study and prayer this new opportunity fell into our laps....well I guess it isn't a new opportunity we have done it before--- we are going to sell Security Systems! Yuck! And YAy! Yuck about the work-- Yay that I have kids and get to stay home and don't have to go door to door taking rejection all day and Yay for the answer to prayers! It really just feels right and Joel thinks he can do well. He did well in the past. We did it for two summers before and it's really tough but it is great pay and it's fun to move around. We will be in New Mexico for two months and then move to Arizonza. After our summer sales adventure then it's California here we come!
